The Lua Programming Gems 8 - "MVC Web Development with Kepler" includes the gem PDF and the examples sources, ready to be used with a Kepler 1.1.1 installation.

Installing the examples

Assuming you have followed the instruction on Kepler [Installation], you should have an /apps directory on your Kepler directory.

Create an /apps/cgilua directory and copy the '/gem' directory and files from the archive.

Using the examples

Assuming you are using Xavante, the examples can be run through the URL

http://localhost:8080/app.lua/gem

If you are using a different setup, you may need to change the server name and paths for your Kepler installation.
