Kepler 1.1 Beta 2 is planned for release on September 2007 with the following Lua 5.1 modules:

Kepler 1.1 uses the first version of a new building and deployment system for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and Maemo.
Kepler 1.2
The following features are currently being developed and with a release target within the next 6 to 12 months.
You can join the development by following the discussions on the Brainstorm and Projects pages, testing the new modules and reporting bugs on the Mailing List.
- An MVC framework (Orbit)
- An Object Relational Mapping system (ORM)
- An alternative template engine (Safe Template)
- A new web server abstraction (WSAPI) with filter such as Authenticate
- The wiki that powers this site (Sputnik)
- A package management system similar to Ruby Gems (LuaRocks)
Future Versions
A Portal Manager based on Orbit would allow the centralization of components on the same page.
One of the targets for Kepler are mobile devices. Some of the features that we plan to offer by then would be
- Assynchronous database synchronization over the air (OTA)
- Distribution of services and load using distributed Lua objects (ALua)
