If you want to start by installing Kepler on your own machine, please follow the instructions on the Installation, which tells you how to install Kepler on a machine to which you have administrator access and how to start up Xavante - a simple web server that comes with Kepler. After that, proceed to Hello World page that will tell you how to write a simple application.

If you want to start by installing Kepler on a machine to which you have limited access, as is usually the case with shared hosting, go to the Kepler on Shared Hosting, then come back to Hello World.

Once you have the basic application running, you will probably want to learn how to access a database from Kepler - please go to Using a Database for that. For a fuller discussion of how to make Kepler work with various web servers, go to Configuring Web Servers.

If you have a specific question that does not seem to be answered elsewhere in this section, check the User FAQ. Finally, the Getting Help describes what you can do when you have a problem that you can't resolve with the documentation provided here.
